The Serum 01 Protocol

Consistent, correct application is the difference between seeing results and not. GHK-Cu works cumulatively — each application builds on the last. Follow this protocol exactly for the best outcome.

Step 01 — Cleanse

Begin with a clean face. Remove all makeup, SPF, and surface impurities with a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type. Pat skin dry — do not rub. Apply Serum 01 only to clean, dry skin. GHK-Cu absorbs most effectively on a surface free of competing actives.

Step 02 — Dispense

Dispense 3–4 drops of Serum 01 into the palm of your hand. This is sufficient to cover the full face and neck. More is not better — a thin, even layer is optimal for absorption.

Step 03 — Apply

Using your fingertips, gently press and smooth the serum across your face and neck using upward strokes. Avoid the immediate eye area. Do not rub aggressively — the serum should be pressed into the skin, not dragged across it.

Step 04 — Wait

Allow 60–90 seconds for the serum to fully absorb before applying any subsequent product. You will notice the serum absorbs quickly and leaves no residue. This absorption window is important — layering products too quickly can dilute efficacy.

Step 05 — Layer

Follow with your moisturizer of choice. In the morning, always finish with SPF 30 or higher. GHK-Cu is not photosensitive, but the cellular regeneration it promotes benefits from UV protection to preserve results.

Frequency

Use Serum 01 twice daily — morning and evening. Clinical results were measured at 8 weeks of consistent twice-daily use. Skipping applications slows cumulative progress significantly. Consistency is the protocol.

Compatibility

GHK-Cu is compatible with most skincare ingredients. However, avoid using it in the same application as high-concentration vitamin C (ascorbic acid) or strong AHAs/BHAs, as these can interfere with copper peptide stability. If you use these actives, alternate — for example, vitamin C in the morning and Serum 01 in the evening. GHK-Cu pairs well with hyaluronic acid, peptides, and ceramides. Serum 01 already contains hyaluronic acid in its base formula.

What to Expect

Week 1: Improved surface hydration and skin smoothness from the hyaluronic acid in the formula.

Weeks 2–3: Barrier function strengthens. Any existing redness or irritation typically reduces. GHK-Cu signaling is actively underway at the cellular level.

Weeks 4–6: Skin feels denser and more resilient. Fine lines appear less defined. This is when most customers notice the structural change.

Week 8+: Corresponds to clinical trial measurement points. Statistically significant wrinkle volume reduction and elasticity improvement confirmed at this stage in peer-reviewed research.

Storage

Store Serum 01 in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. The glass bottle protects the formula from light degradation. Shelf life is 24 months unopened, 12 months after opening. Do not refrigerate.
