What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper tripeptide found in human plasma. It has been studied for over 50 years and is one of the most extensively researched copper peptides in cosmetic dermatology, with over 50 years of peer-reviewed ingredient research on its role in supporting the visible appearance of firmer, smoother, healthier-looking skin.
What concentration of GHK-Cu does Serum 01 contain?
Serum 01 contains 1% GHK-Cu — the concentration used in peer-reviewed clinical trials that demonstrated measurable results. Many brands include copper peptides at far lower concentrations for labeling purposes. Ours is dosed to work.
Why is the serum blue?
The blue color of Serum 01 comes from two sources: GHK-Cu itself has a natural blue tint in solution, and the formula includes Methylene Blue — a well-studied antioxidant ingredient used in cosmetic formulations. Color may range from pale to light blue or slightly greenish — this is normal and does not affect product quality.
When will I see results?
Most customers notice improved hydration and skin texture within the first week. Structural changes — improved firmness, reduced fine lines — typically become perceptible around weeks 4–6 with consistent twice-daily use. Clinical trials measured statistically significant wrinkle reduction at 8 weeks.
Is Serum 01 suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. GHK-Cu is well tolerated by all skin types including sensitive skin. Serum 01 is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and formulated without harsh alcohols or irritants. If you have a known sensitivity to any ingredient, patch test on a small area before full application.
Can I use Serum 01 with other actives?
GHK-Cu is compatible with most skincare ingredients including hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and peptides. Avoid using it in the same application as high-concentration vitamin C or strong AHAs/BHAs — alternate morning and evening instead.
How long does one bottle last?

Where is Cuprite manufactured?
All Cuprite products are manufactured in the United States in a GMP-certified, FDA-registered facility. Manufacturing documentation is available on request.
Are your products FDA approved?
Cuprite products are cosmetics, not drugs, and as such do not require FDA pre-market approval. Our manufacturing facility is FDA-registered and GMP-certified. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
